JRR coordinating group Meeting

23-24 February 2009

On 23-24 February 2009, No Peace Without Justice (NPWJ), in its capacity as Interim JRR Secretariat, organised the fourth meeting of the JRR Coordinating Group in Wakefield, Canada, with the financial support of the European Commission and the Governments of Canada and Finland.

The meeting was convened to discuss the following issues:

1. Overview of recent developments and general discussion of JRR to ensure that all attendees, representing both existing and potential JRR participants, fully understood the initiative.
2. The JRR Pilot Training Course to be held in Berlin in May 2009, including selection of primary and alternate course participants.
3. Guidelines for JRR Mission deployment and presentation of a flowchart depicting deployment modalities.
4. The organisation and funding of the JRR Secretariat.
