Justice Rapid Response, in partnership with UN Women and the Institute for International Criminal Investigations will be hosting a training course on “Investigating Cases of Sexual and Gender-based Violence as International Crimes” in Dakar, Senegal, from 1-7 November 2014 (Postponed). The training will be held at the kind invitation of the Minister of Justice of Senegal. The training course is made possible thanks to a generous contribution of UN Women, as well as contributions from the governments of Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Sweden, Switzerland, and from the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie. The course is also made possible thanks to institutional support granted to JRR by Canada, Denmark, Netherlands, and Finland.
The course aims at increasing the number of French-speaking experts, particularly from Francophone Africa, on the JRR – UN Women SGBV Justice Experts Roster.
